Autumn 2018

Our Summer newsletter mentioned some of the great composers who came to earth to raise vibrations through music. In this newsletter we are briefly seeing how the arts – music, poetry, paintings and uplifting books can help us on our spiritual journey for a Albert Schweitzer wrote “All true and deeply felt music, whether sacred or profane, journeys to heights where art and religion always meet”

According to The Winds of Truth channellings, the Eleventh Ray – The Dark Green Ray of Art, Music and Colour under the adept Azrahaehl states that:-

“Art, Music and Colour are the three great outward expressions of The Godhead” and that “Azrahaehl guides and guards all the great artists of the earth”. Going on to explain that “The Dark Green Ray was once a deep blue in colour but mankind has so endeavoured to produce and manufacture an “art” of his own that the Cosmic Essences in the Ray no longer vibrate and evolve at such a great speed, owing to planetary interference. And thus the Dark Blue has dimmed itself into Green.

The colour may change back to dark blue if vibrations are raised in the filed of the arts as the Fifth |Golden Creative Ray under Buddha falls as golden rain and is most active in a spiritual way by those reproducing “THE IDEAS BORN OF SPIRIT”, as “all beautiful objects are under its protection”. All works of art, all beautiful music, all colour, for it is inter-blended with the Eleventh Ray.

According to the channellings, the early morning rite in Yanini known also as Lemania, was accompanied by the sound of the birds' dawn chorus as music had not been discovered. Their first musical instrument was made from one string of plaited long white hairs from a mountain goat stretched over a shallow bowl.

Music has been used in different ways throughout the ages to suit the needs of the times. One of the earliest myths was of Orpheus and his lyre which was said to charm all things animate and inanimate as the source was so exquisite. Orpheus was able to bring down the heavenly or spiritual forces and translate them into music.

This principle is behind all healing and great art and explains why the Eleventh Ray was originally Deep Blue being the colour of the heavenly realms.

The Greek philosopher Plato 427-347 B.C. wrote in “Hymn to Harmony” that:- “Music alone with hidden charms can bind the wandering sense and calm the troubled mind”. This effect can be seen in the haunting sounds of the reed pipes and flutes of snake charmers and so it is with ourselves.

Music developed over the years reflecting the needs of the times e.g. heavy drum beats before battle and sea shanties sung by fishermen as they heaved catches in so in rhythm.

Music has and does play an important part in the life of spiritual and /or religious communities e.g. Gregorian chants, A Welsh Triad, said to have been written in the Dark Ages, mentions a circle of perpetual choirs formed by the monks of Glastonbury Abbey, Amesbury and Llantwit Major in South Wales who chanted day and night to enchant the land.

Popular music and fashionable trends in music, art, literature and poetry may not be to everyone's tastes as may be designed to shock rather than comfort or uplift but may make us aware of issues that need to be addressed thus serving a specific purpose. These may not stand the test of time as are of the moment so are not necessarily timeless and beautiful as John Keats so eloquently described in “Endymion” “A thing of beauty is a joy forever: its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness”.

Paintings and sculptures adorn churches and cathedrals, a tradition that began in the temples of ancient Egypt. Stained glass windows are an aspect of this. Beautiful words in prayers, psalms, chants and spiritual books that inspire are another aspect of the Eleventh Ray. Music and the Arts can calm our emotions, uplift our spirits and inspire us and elevates our consciousness above mundane concerns to the spiritual realms where healing, which may not be of the physical body but of the mind, emotions and spirit takes place. At times, if the chaos of our lives, our communities and the world threatens to fill us with feelings of despair and helplessness against the rapid changes beyond our control. Heed this simple advice by Wayne Garfield which will uplift ourselves and all within our sphere and perhaps, in time the Dark Green Ray will once again turn Deep Blue.

“We feel a Golden Age vibe when looking at art, reading or listening to inspired music or poetry so by doing so we can all help the plant so the light does not go out altogether”
